JSIPS is the official pay calculator used by USACC to determine instructor compensation.
Instructor Pay Overview
Minimum Instructor Pay, MIP
All cost-shared JROTC Instructors and DAI Office personnel must submit
DD Form 2767
via JCIMS by 30 April annually. Pay stops at the end of the current DD 2767 and resumes only when a new form is received.

New Hire & Transfers
- Schools must submit a hire letter and DD Form 2767.
- Transfers require brigade approval before the effective date.
- Resignations must be submitted 30 days in advance via brigade.
Furlough & JCLC
- Furlough days are non-reimbursable; memo required.
- JCLC payments are processed as 50% cost-share adjustments.
Cost Share Reimbursement
Reimbursements and EFT statements are processed by the 15th of the following month. Delays may occur due to mitigating circumstances.
Districts must meet the total annual MIP. Failure may result in probation or program de-establishment.

SkillBridge / Career Skills Program, CSP
The JROTC Instructor Career Skills Program, CSP, allows eligible transitioning service members to train with host schools prior to retirement or separation. Participants gain hands-on experience in classroom instruction, mentorship, and leadership development.

Eligibility Checklist
- As of 11 Apr 2025 MILPER Number: 25-116 indicates the following:
- E6-E7, WO-CWO3, O1-O3 have a max participation time of 90 days.
- E8-E9, CWO4-CWO5, O4 and above have a max participation of 60 days.
- Must have command approval to participate.
- Must submit completed CSP application form.
- Must coordinate with host school and Cadet Command.
