The Wiesbaden Warrior Battalion has spent the year preparing for its JROTC Program of Accreditation (JPA) which validates the program’s ability to deliver the approved curriculum in an effective way. Bottom line: To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens – and to demonstrate that we effectively achieve the mission. Our Command and Staff as well as all 180+ Cadets that have been in the Warrior Battalion this year have made the goal of retaining Honor Unit with Distinction the #1 goal of the year. The team from 2d ROTC Brigade was set to travel to Europe last week and conduct our JPA on 20 MAR, but they were limited by a current travel restriction.

Fortunately, we have a great relationship with US Army Garrison Wiesbaden and our Partners in Education, the 102d Signal Battalion! We reached out to coordinate for experienced Soldiers – Officers, Warrants, and NCOs to conduct our “JPA” using the rubrics and guidance from the regulation at the originally planned times to follow through on the plan and complete the cycle or to refine in preparation for the actual Brigade team doing the visit in April. They came through! The 102d Sig took the Service Learning Brief and conducted portfolio inspections and interviews. Their feedback was awesome! Although Cadets were nervous, they impressed the professional Soldiers throughout. The Continuous Improvement Brief was taken by our Garrison Commander and Command Sergeant Major as well as Wiesbaden Principal. The staff impressed the visiting dignitaries and the feedback will allow refinement of an already awesome product!

Huge thanks to all who work to support our Warriors! Airborne!
