The Morehead Army JROTC Panther Battalion had the honor of conducting the Color Guard the 2023 opening session of the North Carolina Senate. The session was broadcast live throughout the state of North Carolina. The Morehead Army JROTC Color Guard was granted permission to enter the Senate Chamber by LT Governor Robinson at the 5:30 mark on the video. It was requested that we not wear headgear as the active-duty personnel in the Senate Chamber were not wearing theirs. You can view the video of the opening ceremony below.
