The Howard High School Army JROTC drill teams from 4th Brigade performed well at the Century Drill Competition on November 18th. Weeks prior to the competition the drill teams held many after-school practices preparing for the competition. The armed team secured first place in inspection and second place in regulation and platoon. Throughout the weeks before the competition, all team members attended practices to learn and rehearse the sequences, ensuring optimal performance. The unarmed team achieved first place in the exhibition and second place in the inspection. The armed squad earned fourth place and the unarmed squad secured third place. The armed and unarmed color guard teams also excelled, earning third place in their divisions. The collaboration and hard work of team members ultimately paid off, leading to well-deserved awards and placements.
