Teams traveled from as far as Madison County and Cleveland, Georgia, to participate in this thrilling event that showcased not only technical expertise but also teamwork and camaraderie among Junior ROTC cadets.

This year’s competition featured a variety of events, including drone navigation challenges and traditional drill routines. Participants demonstrated their precision, discipline, and creativity in events that tested their ability to work as a team under pressure. White County High School, however, dominated the drone competition, placing 1st in all categories. Their performance set the bar high, showcasing exceptional precision and technical expertise in navigating the drone courses.

“This event is more than just a competition; it’s an opportunity for cadets to build lasting friendships, learn the importance of discipline, and practice leadership,” said one of the event organizers. “It’s inspiring to see young leaders from all over the state come together and support each other.” The drone challenges were a highlight of the day, requiring participants to maneuver drones through obstacle courses with precision and speed. This modern addition to the traditional drill competition added a unique and exciting element, reflecting the evolving skill sets required in today’s world. In addition to the fierce competition, the event fostered a sense of unity among the schools. Cadets cheered for one another, celebrated each other’s successes, and exchanged advice and encouragement, embodying the true spirit of camaraderie.
